The Stettler Consulting AG (hereinafter referred to as "we" or "us") treats your application and personal data (hereinafter also referred to as "application data" or simply "data") that you provide to us as confidential. We process your data only to the extent and as long as necessary for our job placement activity (hereinafter "placement activity") and in compliance with applicable law, such as Swiss Employment Agency law, the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG), or – where applicable – the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Processing means any handling of personal data, irrespective of the means and procedures used, in particular the collection, storage, keeping, use, modification, disclosure, archiving, deletion or destruction of data.

Grounds for justification or legal bases for processing your data are your consent or other circumstances in accordance with the applicable laws, such as conclusion/performance of contracts, fulfillment of legal obligations or our legitimate or overriding interests.

B. Evaluation of Application Documents, Forwarding to Possible Employers

By sending your application documents to us, you agree with respect to the data contained therein, that we may

  1. evaluate and process it for as long as is necessary for our placement activities or the respective application and placement procedure, and
  2. pass it on to a possible employer within Switzerland, whose company name we will provide to you in advance.

You can withdraw your consent to data processing and your application at any time with regard to a specific employer or completely.

C. Your Express Consents

In the course of our placement activities, we require your express consent for the following processing, storage and transmission of your data, which you can grant as follows:

  1. Storage of your data in the Stettler candidate pool and contacting you for future interesting positions
  2. Newsletter: Through our email service, the Stettler Consulting AG Job Bulletin, you can regularly receive information about job vacancies in the fields of Pharma, Medical Technology, Biotechnology, Diagnostics/Laboratory, Hospital.
  3. Application documents may contain sensitive personal data (e.g., regarding religion, ethnicity, health, trade union/political affiliation, etc.).
  4. Potential employers and partners and service providers of Stettler Consulting AG (in particular processors such as IT service providers) may also be located abroad.
  5. As part of the evaluation of your application, it may be necessary to obtain expert opinions or references.

D. Right to withdraw

The consents granted by you above are independent of each other and are voluntary. You may withdraw or limit all or individual consents at any time without giving any reason with effect for the future (e.g., with respect to certain employers or references).
